Twist Incorporated was founded in 1971 as a full metal manufacturer of precision coil springs, wire forms, stampings, sheet metal, and assemblies for automotive applications.
As a diversification expansion in 2000, Twist entered the Aviation Market with the development of a patented PCA hose management system, The Boom Air®. After much success in this new sector, operations grew to include a full line of Pre-Conditioned Air products in 2013, and GPUs in 2018.
Today, the company owns and operates 10 facilities, with a total of 750,000 sq. ft., with 300 + associates.
Twist is committed to investing in the company’s future, with an average of 2.5 million spent on new machinery, technology and facilities annually. With this reinvestment philosophy, Twist has become a true self-sufficient OEM, utilizing equipment such as: multiple flat lasers, tube lasers, precision weld tables, water jet, deburr, plating and powder coat operation. These are just a few examples of Twist’s self-sufficiency and capability.
All Twist Aero products are manufactured, finished and assembled in our Southwest Ohio Facilities, which allows for superior quality, reduced lead-times and competitive pricing.
